Maulana Izhar ul Haq was Kidnapped from Mehran Hotel in Karachi
Karachi(Staff Reporters): Sources say that Maulana Izhar ul Haq was abducted from the Mehran hotel, subjected to barbaric and inhuman torture and then Murdered. According to sources names of those who were staying along with Maulana Izhar ul Haq in Mehran hotel, it is feared that his companions have been killed as well. 21 year old Maulana Izhar ul Haq was the Muhtamim of Jami'yyah Mahmoodiyah Jhang, he left behind him his wife, his mother and two younger brothers. He didn't have any children.
Maulana Izhar ul Haq's Funeral at Jaami'yyah Gulshan-i-Umar
Karachi (Staff Reporter): Maulana Izhar ul Haq's funeral prayer was led by Maulana Haroon Qasmi at Jaami'yyah Gulshan-i-Umar Suhraab Goth thereafter the body was sent to Lahore by flight.
Report from Jhang
Islamabad (Special Report Fudhail ur Rahmaan Khan): Daily Islaam contacted Maulana Illyas Balakoti regarding the murder of Maulana Izhaar ul Haq. He said that Maulana Izhaar ul Haq Jhangvi had left for a visit to Karachi about a week back. He was in constant communication with his family. Howevever there had been no communication for the last three days. On wednesday a local Karachi daily reported that Maulana Izhar ul Haq's body has been found in Suhraab Goth. When we heard this news we contacted ex-Sipah Sahabah's workers in Karachi and asked them to identify the body. By 2 pm it was confirmed that the body belonged to Sahibzada Izhar ul Haq.
Sources in Jhang report the news of the murder spread like wildfire in Jhang. The Traders of Jhang stopped all their business in protest. Maulana Izhar's body reached Jhang from Lahore in the early hours of wednesday night & a funeral prayer will be held today in the grounds of Islamia High School at 10 am.
